Bangalow Margerite

The project consists of a single-family vacation home located in the municipality of "the haan" close to the sea. The idea here is to offer a cabin with a wooden frame structure, limiting the use of concrete to the foundations as much as possible. The bungalow offers various openings aiming to capture both the sun and the views towards the sea and the woods. There are east and west openings that will bring dynamic light and rhythm to the days, as well as large southern openings to maximize natural light. To finish, there are no windows to the north to minimize heat loss.

The bungalow is built around the dining room, which is the center of the house as it is the meeting place for families. Surrounding this room, there is a kitchen, a living room, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. The idea was to create a metaphor of a flower surrounded by its petals.
